Kary Hess is a writer, artist, and filmmaker. She is the new editor of Made Local magazine and a film producer and production designer for FMRL Publishers + Productions.
She is the author of 1912: Poems of Time, Place and Memory, the SparkTarot® deck, and is a contributor to the North Bay Bohemian, the Marin Pacific Sun, Explore magazine, 50up, and Bohème magazines.
Kary earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Interdisciplinary Arts and Writing from the California Institute of Integral Studies and lives in Petaluma, California. more
